Being an advocate for Students and the Student experience is a cause close to my heart. In my time at Ulster University Magee, I ran for the role of Magee Vice President. The responsibilities of this role include being a champion for students on the Magee campus at Ulster University and advocating for change whether it be in university policies or introducing new services and so on. I did not win the role but I learned immensely from my campaigning. Being able to have open, honest conversations with students and their worries or fears about their student experience really opened my eyes to being inclusive to everybody in all aspects of my life.

I also acted as a spokesperson for BSc Cinematic Arts in a promotional video for the course which has been shown on every information page for prospective students since 2017. Acting as a spokesperson for the course was an immense privilege and I am delighted to represent my course for prospective students to Cinematic Arts even after I have graduated.
